OUTWOD is the first and only Los Angeles-area CrossFit competition for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered (LGBT) athletes and their allies. CrossFit espouses itself as an inclusive sport, committed to improving human movements while building community. OUTWOD hopes to promote that belief by offering an arena for LGBT CrossFit athletes (and their allies) to come together from across the LA region to compete, meet each other, and build a sronger community. In September 2013, the inaugural OUTWOD LA raised $1,100 for the LA Gay & Lesbian Center with over 60 competitors participating. Last June, OUTWOD raised $2,500 for The Trevor Project with over 130 competitors.

OUTWOD is a social event. There will be two partner WODs. Partners should be around the same capabilities.
The WOD is inclusive. Even if you're new to CrossFit, you should join us for this event. We encourage you to have fun. Movements will not be released before the event, but rest assured everything is scalable. You will indicate at event check-in if your team decides to RX or scale the WOD.
Sock-o-licious! All athletes will receive fabulous socks from Pride Socks. Other surprises are in store for top finishers in both our RX and scaled divisions.
As of May 21, the June 2015 OUTWOD LA is SOLD OUT. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to get placed on the waitlist.
